Order TRICLADIDA Lang, 1884
- Tricladida Lang, A. 1884.
Introduction
Here, members of Tricladida are arranged in a classification following Sluys et al. (2009). This new classification was devised with reference to advances in the phylogenetic systematics of the group based largely on DNA data sources. The names Terricola and Paludicola are suppressed in the classification of Sluys et al. (2009) and are not included here. The family group Geoplanidae Stimpson, 1857 (within Suborder Continenticola) now houses all known land planarians.
