Ecological Descriptors
Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Chamelaucium uncinatum Schauer [MYRTACEAE] Geraldton Wax; Leptospermum spp. [MYRTACEAE] Tea-trees; Melaleuca spp. [MYRTACEAE]), volant.
Larva: wood-borer (associated flora: Agonis flexuosa (Willd.) Sweet [MYRTACEAE] Peppermint).
Extra Ecological Information
McMillan (1952) reported adults on a variety of hosts such as Geraldton Wax, Melaleuca and Leptospermum and breeding in Agonis flexuosa, and this was noted by Hawkeswood & Peterson (1982).
