Introduction

This endemic species is only known from the far SE corner of Queensland and the far NE corner of New South Wales. A record from "National Park, New South Wales" given by Evans (1966) is based on a specimen in the J.W. Evans collection from National Park, Queensland.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

General coloration pale yellowish brown irregularly mottled with dark brown, or whitish mottled with brown and sometimes with a wide median longitudinal band extending from the anterior margin of the pronotum to the base of the scutellum. Tegmen whitish, yellowish, brownish or colourless hyaline; veins brown, sometimes with pale bars. Clavus sometimes basally whitish and punctate and with reticulate venation. Length ♂ 7–8 mm, ♀ 8–9 mm (Evans 1966).
