   Sogatellana marginata Kuoh, 1980 by original designation.

Introduction

This genus was created for Chinese species but was included in the Australian fauna by the transfer of Delphax geranor Kirkaldy by Asche & Wilson (1990) who also indicated that Sogatellana may be a junior synonym of the oriental genus Himeunka Matsumura & Ishihara. An examination of the original type material of Himeunka tateyamaella Matsumura is needed to determine whether these generic names are synonyms.

Diagnosis

Differs from all other related genera of the Sogatella-group by the possession of two pairs of processes on the ventral side of the anal segment (Asche & Wilson 1990).
