Genus Smicrotatodelphax Kirkaldy, 1906

Compiler and date details

24 December 2010 - Murray J. Fletcher

Introduction

This was an endemic monotypic genus until Muir (1917) added a second species from Java. Muir (1917) made the comment that these two species were the smallest delphacids he knew, reaching a total body length of only 1.3 mm and Kirkaldy (1906) noted that S. perkinsi was the smallest planthopper known to him.
