Genus Sidymella Strand, 1942

Introduction
The work of Machado & Teixeira (2021) has demonstrated that this genus is restricted to Central and South America with Australian representatives most likely referable to Stephanopis, however they noted that further work was required to determine the correct generic placement of Australian species currently placed in Sidymella. We retain in this genus until such work is completed.
