Diagnosis
Pedal disc wide. Column cylindrical, thick mesogloea. Marginal sphincter muscle mesogloeal, reticular with small meshes, occupies 1/3 width of mesogloea. Tentacles, 60-70, with swollen base on outer side. Actinopharynx with two deep siphonoglyphs. Up to 70 pairs of mesenteries, sometimes irregularly arranged, half of which are strong, sterile with filaments, other half alternating with the former, only present in the aboral part, without filaments but fertile. In certain exocoels a duplication of sterile imperfect mesenteries. Pennons diffuse.
