Continental slope, marine.

Extra Ecological Information

Coarse biogenic rubble, mud, 400 m depth. Considered to be a predator on some group or groups of sessile or sluggish benthic or epibenthic invertebrates (Just 2004). Functional morphology indicates it feeds by piercing its prey and sucking up macerated/liquefied food; 400–1277 m.
