Compiler and date details

- Poeciloptera repleta Walker, F. 1858. List of specimens of Homopterous insects in the collection of the British Museum. Supplement. London : British Museum (Natural History) 369 pp. [334].
Type data:
Holotype BMNH ♂ (from Mr Strange's collection; holotype by monotypy), Australia
Comment: Medler (1990) designated a lectotype from "Australia" and recognised a paralectotype from Moreton Bay. Walker (1858) only indicated that he had one specimen from "Australia. From Mr Strange's collection" which is presumably the specimen which Medler (1990) designated as lectotype. This specimen is recognised here as holotype by monotypy. - Paratella modesta Melichar, L. 1902. Monographie der Acanaloniiden und Flatiden (Homoptera) (Fortsetzung).
