Introduction
Australia has a reasonably diverse fauna of this tribe. There are five genera represented here with most having multiple species, in total there are 14 Australian species. Many of the Australian Selizini are associated with drier inland parts of the continent.
Diagnosis
The principal character of this division is found in the elongate and narrow tegmina, always twice as long as broad; the tegmina also have their apical margins truncate, either straightly [sic!] or a little sinuately, and their posterior angles sometimes broadly produced (Distant 1906).
