Genus Scheloribates Berlese, 1908

Introduction

In addition to the named species listed here, unidentified species of Scheloribates have been reported from Australia by Roberts (1953), Lee & Southcott (1979), Moulton (1982), Malipatil & Blyth (1982), Lee (1986), Osler (1997), Colloff & Halliday (1998), Kinnear & Tongway (2004) and Adolphson & Kinnear (2008). Unidentified species were also reported from Australia by Hunt et al. (1998), Colloff & Halliday (1998) and Proctor et al. (2002), under the name Megascheloribates sp.
