Introduction

Scagacola brigalow can be distinguished from S. cavernula, S. subcavernula and S. degenerata by the presence of more prominent and finer radial ribs. Animala are grey in clour with a pale dorsal stripe.

Ecological Descriptors

Brigalow, under logs, under rocks, vine thicket, woodland.

 

Diagnosis

Shell medium-sized, yellow with darker yellow radial streaks, subdiscoidal to subglobose with a low spire; protoconch smooth apart from some oblique striations at the end, teleoconch sculpture of relatively fine radial ribs with few spiral striae; umbilicus narrow, V-shaped; diameter 18mm.
