Introduction
This brightly coloured species is probably green with red markings in life. It is known from southeastern coastal areas of the mainland with a single paratype, of unknown gender, from near Collie in SW Western Australia.

All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
This species is similar externally to R. lopada Webb but can usually be distinguished by the conspicuous scarlet inner margin of the clavus and the absence of brown markings on the head and thorax. In the male genitalia, the posterior process of the dorsal flanges is distinctive (Webb 1983).
