Diagnosis

This species can be distinguished by its moderately large size, its pale colour and the absence of markings, or presence of markings on the tergites only. The male genitalia are similar to those of R. napais (Kirkaldy) but differ in having the membranous region of the style apical process short rather than long (Webb 1983). Webb (1983) provides details of the variation in male genitalia exhibited across the distribution of the species.
