This species, known only from the northern parts of the Northern Territory, is quite distinctive in colour.

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

This species can be distinguished by its small size (♂ 4.3 mm, ♀ 5.0 mm), medial longitudinal brown stripe on the pronotum, continuing onto the inner margin of the forewing, and the shape of the clypeus (tumid with sides nearly parallel) (Webb 1983).
