Diagnosis

This species, together with R. nuda Webb, can be distinguished from other species of the genus by possession of a large membranous expansion on the style apical process. The two species are tentatively regarded as being distinct, being separable only on the shape of the subgenital plate and its arrangement of setae (Webb 1983).
