Holotype ANIC ♂ (coll.: 22.iii.1968, I.F.B.Common & M.S. Upton), 13 km SW of Mt Ragged, Western Australia.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
Head and thorax yellow to brownish yellow. Vertex and dorsal region of face marked with orangey scarlet and several small brown spots. Pronotum with two irregular longitudinal brown patches on each side. Scutellum marked with brown. Forewings yellow to brownish hyaline; veins concolorous with cells or scarlet to brown. Legs yellow, with a brown longitudinal patch on posterior surface of middle and hind femur and tibia. Abdomen yellow, tergites broadly marked with dark brown anteriorly. Male genitalia similar to those of R. swani but subgenital plates narrower apically and processes from anterior margin of aedeagus longer. Length ♂ 5.4 mm (Webb 1983).
