Introduction
This species from SE Queensland and NE New South Wales is yellow with brown markings and exhibits some variation in the male genitalia.

All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
This species is closely related to R. nigroflava Webb and R. parva Webb, both of which have overlapping distributions with it. It differs from those species by its moderately large size (length ♂ 5.0–6.0 mm; ♀ 5.9–6.0 mm) and brown markings (pronotum with a variable longitudinal brown patch each side of midline and often with a faint brown longitudinal line medially, pronotum sometimes nearly entirely dark brown; scutellum pale to dark brown; forewings with inner margin brown; abdomen marked with brown dorsomedially) (Webb 1983).
