Introduction

The Australian record of this species, which is otherwise distributed in eastern Indonesia (including western New Guinea), is based on a single specimen in ASCU identified by M.S.K. Ghauri as this species. An examination of the type material of other species described from the wet tropics of North Queensland is needed to confirm all the Australian records of species from this region.
