Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Face of head posteriorly black or dark brown with, in the male, a broad transverse pale brown marginal stripe. Crown of head well defined in male, of equal length with the eyes. In the female somewhat longer in the centre than laterally. Pronotum and tegmina pale brown mottled with dark brown; scutellum evenly pale brown. Apex of abdomen in female extending beyond folded tegmina. Length ♂ 4.2, ♀ 6 mm (Evans 1966).
