Introduction

This species was distinguished by the veins of the tegmen being red. It is known from the wet tropics of north Queensland.

Ecological Descriptors

Adult: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Ventral part of frons, smaller and narrower [than R. chrysonoe, now in Saccharodite], less elevated laterally, etc. Pale yellowish testaceous, scutellum more or less infuscate basally. Tegmina hyaline, largely clouded with brownish, veins sanguineous. Tergites infuscate. Length: 5 mm (Kirkaldy 1906).
