Syntype(s) BPBM sex, quantity unknown (coll.: viii.1904, on grass), Cairns, Queensland.
Introduction
This species has some similarity to certain species of Dictyopharidae, particularly Dictyphara australiaca (Lallemand) which also has the head produced as a rising triangular cone. However, the structure of the tegmen is quite different, particularly the clear subapical line beyond which the distal membranes are slightly overlapping, This species is known from the wet tropics and neighbouring Chillagoe regions of North Queensland.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
Pale yellowish green, paler beneath. Tegmina hyaline, veins pale yellowish green. Length: 11–12 mm. (Kirkaldy 1906).
