Introduction
This subfamily is distributed around the Old World tropics and the western Pacific. The Australian representation comprises five species in five genera of the tribe Tropiduchini. Two of the genera are monotypic and endemic.
Diagnosis
Costal area broad, veined transversely (Kirkaldy 1907).
