Introduction
This genus is one of several monotypic endemic genera added to the Australian fauna by Webb (1983) which implies that there may be additional undescribed species to be added to these genera.

Diagnosis
This genus can be distinguished by the strongly protruding eyes in facial aspect, the wrinkled scutellum and dorsally directed processes of the male segment X. The second valvulae of the ovipositor are smiilar to those found in Tumocerus Evans (Webb 1983).
