Introduction

This species, which is unknown to the compiler, is only known from the male holotype from Tammin in the Avon wheatbelt of SW Western Australia.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

General coloration grey mottled with dark brown. Face of head pale brown mottled with dark brown; anteclypeus anteriorly transversely corrugated; posteriorly, and the vertex laterally, corrugated with a cellular pattern. Crown pale brown with dark brown markings, longitudinally and obliquely rugose. Pronotum and scutellum rugose grey with dark brown markings. Tegmen hyaline grey, veins whitish, narrowly and broadly bordered with brown. Length ♂ 6.8 mm; greatest width across eyes, 2.2 mm (Evans 1969).
