Holotype QM T.11571 ♂ (coll.: 4-7.xi.1969, E.C. Dahms), Ruby Creek, New South Wales, nr Stanthorpe, SE Queensland.
Introduction
This species straddles the state border between Queensland and New South Wales. It is boldly patterned with longitudinal stripes.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
Strongly patterned species with a bold transcephalic stripe. Aedeagus with a single, broad apical arm bearing five spines, two ventrolaterally directed on anterior margin, and three on posterior margin, one ventrally directed and two dorsolaterally directed. Paramere with lateral arm broad apically (Stevens 1994).
