Introduction

Pupisoma porti is an arboreal species with a broad eastern Australian distribution. This may be the same species as the widespread, similar looking Indo-Pacific and northern Australian P. orcula (Benson, 1850).

Diagnosis

Shell minute to very small, brown, turbinate with relatively high spire; sculpture of distinct growth lines and finer spiral threads; whorls rounded, sutures deeply impressed; columella moderately broad, sinuous; umbilicus almost closed to closed; height 2mm.
