Introduction
Pupisoma pagodula is distinguished from P. porti by the very distinct and high ‘pagoda-like’ spire with strongly impressed sutures and more prominent axial ribs. It is a rare, but widespread species which probably has been undercollected to date.

Extra Distribution Information
First recorded from the Macleay Valley, NE NSW in Stanisic et al. (2010) but subsequently recorded from the southern Queenlsand region (Stanisic, pers. comm.).
Australian Endemic.

Extra Ecological Information
All specimens of P. pagodula have been collected in litter but it is a suspected arboreal species
Diagnosis
Shell minute, light brown, high turbinate, stepped spire; sculpture of irregular radial periostracal blades and growth lines; strongly rounded whorls with very deeply impressed sutures; columella very wide and triangular forming a callous over umbilical area; umbilicus closed; height 1.9mm.
