Introduction

Pumilicopta solemorum is distinguished by its complex apertural barriers, It is larger and has a more ovate shell than either P. kessneri and P. bifurcata.

Diagnosis

Shell minute, greyish white, broadly ovate; smooth with weak axial growth threads and strongly rounded whorls, aperture subquadrate with seven to nine teeth: a very large and long parieto-angular, concentric low infraparietal, slanted columellar and thich slanted infracolumellar lamellae; four knob-like palatal barriers in an arc ascending obliquely from the aperture to the parieto-palatal angle; lip strongly reflected; umbilicus tiny; height up to 2.2 mm.
