Larva: wood-borer (associated flora: Acacia doratoxylon Cunn. [FABACEAE] Currawang; Acacia leiocalyx (Domin) Pedley [FABACEAE] Early Flowering Black Wattle; Acacia shirleyi Maiden [FABACEAE] Lancewood; Acacia sp. [FABACEAE] Wattle).

Pullen (1987) summarized the records for the larvae of this species on Acacia doratoxylon and A. leicocalyx and the adult (larvae?) from lancewood (A. shirleyi) (Barnard 1890; Hawkeswood & Peterson 1982; Hawkeswood 1983; Pullen 1984).
