Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Eucalyptus microtheca F.Muell. [MYRTACEAE] Coolabah; Eucalyptus cambageana Maiden [MYRTACEAE] Coowarra Box; Eucalyptus moluccana Roxb. [MYRTACEAE] Grey Box; Eucalyptus sp. [MYRTACEAE] Gum Tree), volant.

Larva: wood-borer (associated flora: Acacia harpophylla F.Muell. ex Benth. [FABACEAE] Brigalow).

Extra Ecological Information

Pullen (1987) summarized the records of this species with larvae from Acacia harpophylla and adults collected from blackbutt (Eucalyptus cambageana), coolibah (E. microtheca) and grey box (E. moluccana) (Adams 1966, Barnard 1890, Hobler 1925).
