Burrower, intertidal, mangrove, mud substrate.

Extra Ecological Information

From inlets and bays, rarely penetrating for any great distance up estuaries, high up the beach, near or above high water mark, on firm substrates from dirty sand to firm mud or hard packed earth, burrow may have long horizontal offshoots.
