Miscellaneous Literature Names

  • Pseudoceros sp. Stummer-Traunfels, 1933.

Introduction

This species is recorded by Newman & Schupp (2002) as being abundant on mangrove roots at 1-2 m depth and was found to feed on two species of colonial ascidians (Eudistoma toealensis Monniot & Monniot, 1996 and E. viride Monniot & Monniot, 1996). They further reported that in southern Queensland waters, P. indicus may be associated with live and dead oysters on mud flats.
