Diagnosis
Carapace compressed, rounded subtriangular in lateral view, location of greatest height a distinct angle. Greatest thickness located anterior to midlength at obscure angle in dorsal view. Antennula elongate, 7-segmented, most setae of last four segments very long. Mandibular palp with three setae on ventral margin of basal segment. Palps of first thoracopod in male of moderate size and symmetrical. Zenker's organ of male tubular dumbbell-shape, with swollen globular ends. Hemipenis elongate, broadly and bluntly terminated, with long spirally coiled, distally thickened copulatory tube.
