Bocak et al. (2020) states that the new combination of Porrostoma forticostatum is proposed for Australian Cladophorus forticostatus. Presumably, P. forticostatum is still a valid species elsewhere in the world, but this is not made particularly clear. In addition, no further details on the localities of P. forticostatum are provided.
