Introduction

Calder (1998) synonymised the genus Metriorhynchus with Porrostoma, and moved all species accordingly, Bocak (1998) resurrected the Metriorhynchus concept, but with a replacement name, Metriorrhynchus. Bocak et al. (2020) then returned species moved to Porrostoma back to Metriorrhynchus. Kusy et al. (2022) has since transferred 11 Metriorrhynchus species back to Porrostoma.

Melbourne : CSIRO Publishing, Australia. xiii 248 pp. [151] (this species was originally described from Bœrœ (= Buru Is.) in the Indonesian archipelago. It was erroneously listed as coming from NSW, Buru by Kleine (1933: 81) in the Coleopterorum Catalogus)
