Poiocera de Laporte, 1832.
Introduction
This is by far the larger subtribe of the Poiocerini and is well represented in the Americas. The group is also well represented in New Guinea and two genera are known in Australia. Recent work by Jerome Constant (RBINS, Belgium) has added a number of new Australian species to both Desudaboides Musgrave (Constant 2010) and Birdantis Stål (Constant, in press).
Diagnosis
With the last dorsal abdominal (sixth) segment of the female not produced (Metcalf 1938).
