Holotype AM ♂ (coll.: xi.1921), Hambledon, Queensland.
Introduction
This relatively large, yellow and black species is only known from the holotype male collected at Hambledon in the wet tropics of North Queensland.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
Yellow and black. Head rounded apically, dark yellow. Pronotum and scutellum concolorous with head. Tegmen vitreous, pale yellow, costal margin broadly, anal margin narrowly and veins, black. Length ♂ 9 mm (Evans 1981).
