This species appears to be an arid zone inhabitant having been found in inland arid areas of South Australia and Western Australia.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
Head with ventral surface dull yellow, clypeus red, lateral frontal sutures brown. Frons, antennal pits and clypeus sparsely covered with short white hairs. Dorsal surface of head, pronotum and scutellum pale brown with dark brown markings. Tegmen grey, veins dark grey. Thorax and abdomen ventral surface and legs pale brown with dark brown markings. Length, from apex of head to tip of folded tegmina, 17 mm (Evans 1937).
