The identity of this species needs to be confirmed by examination of the original material. Stål (1854) described the species (in Latin) simply from "Nova Hollandia".

Diagnosis

Capite flavotestaceo, margine basali frontis lateribusque labri nigrofuscis; thorace, hemelytris pedibusque rufoferrugineis, his nonnihil dilutioribus; hemelytris margine dilute fuscis, nigromaculatis; alis fuscis; abdomine apice lanato. Long. 12, lat. 5 millim. (Stål 1854)
