Holotype ZMA V.Pl. 1033.1 sagittal sections on 7 slides (formerly Zoological Institute of Graz University no. 298), Brunswick, WA.
Introduction
Kenk (1974) lists Planaria rava but consider it a species inquirenda "possibly a Dugesia".
Grant et al. (2006) rexamine the type material still available and tentatively assign it to the genus Dugesia.
