Diagnosis

Body densely punctate. Head with seven antennomeres, clubs formed by large antennomeres VII. Pronotum with antebasal foveae indistinct. Elytra with 0-2 basal foveae, foveae punctiform when present. Visible tergites 1-3 (IV-VI) and visible sternites 1-4 (III-VI) fused into cylinder. Metathorax and abdominal sternites with prominent ventrolateral carinae.
