Diagnosis
Female- Prosome greatly swollen, subspherical. Urosome 5-segmented, not swollen. Caudal ramus inflated; setae short. Rostrum linguiform. First antenna 6-segmented. Second antenna 3-segmented, with formula 1,1,3+I.
Mandible simple, with long, slender bipectinate blade and lash. First maxilla with 3 setae. Second maxilla 2-segmented; 1st segment bulbous; 2nd segment with short pectinate lash and 2 setae. Maxilliped 3-segmented; 2nd segment with 2 setae; 3rd segment with attenuate tip and 2 setae.
Legs 1-4 with 3-segmented rami, except endopod of leg 4 reduced to 2-segmented lobe. Leg 3 with terminal exopodal segment having formula 0-0; 0-0. Leg 5 with free segment bearing 2 setae. Leg 6 represented by 2 spines in genital area.
