Species Phytoseius fotheringhamiae Denmark & Schicha, 1975

Introduction

Phytoseius fotheringhamiae has often been confused with P. macropilis. All Australian records of P. macropilis, including those of Womersley (1954) and Readshaw (1969), are misidentifications of P. fotheringhamiae (see Schicha 1984; de Moraes et al. 2004).
