Order MESOSTIGMATA
Introduction
The classification of Mesostigmata used here is based mainly on Lindquist et al. (2009), but with some modifications suggested by Klompen et al. (2007) and Dabert et al. (2010). Most importantly, the Suborder Monogynaspida is not recognised, and its component taxa are distributed among the Suborders Gamasida, Sejida, and Uropodida.
