Ecological Descriptors

Diagnosis
Column to 250-500mm, grey to reddish, smooth in lower portion, 48 rows of verrucae in upper portion. Oral disc flat, green or buff. Marginal tentacles about 96, bearing lateral and symmetrical dendritic outgrowths, alternating large and small. On oral disc are numerous wart-like tentacles arranged in radial rows. Half as many mesenteries at base compared to tentacle number. Two siphonoglyphs aborally prolonged. Lowest cycles of mesenteries perfect and fertile. Retractors srong, band-like, diffuse, curved.
