Syntype(s) BPBM sex, quantity unknown (coll.: xi.1904), Bundaberg, Queensland.
Introduction
This species from low altitude regions of SE Queensland is paler than P. froggatti Kirkaldy and P. hackeri Woodward.

Ecological Descriptors
Adult: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
This species differs from most other species of the genus in its paler colour, the very distinct male terminalia (the basal lobe of the harpagones is readily visible without dissection), the differently shaped female terminalia, Cu1a and M3+4 of tegmen almost always separated apically (Woodward 1957).
