- Perameles myosuros notina Thomas, O. 1922. On bandicoots allied to Perameles bougainville. Annals and Magazine of Natural History 9 10: 143-145 [144] [incorrect original spelling Perameles myosura notina; although he cites myosuros Wagner, Thomas does not explain why he adopts myosura].

Holotype BMNH 43.8.12.21 & 43.8.12.22 ♂ skin (43.8.12.21) & skull (43.8.12.22), plains near the head of St Vincent Gulf, SA.
