Type species:
Eurymela amplicincta Walker, 1858 by original designation.
Introduction
This endemic genus contains two similar species with broad, convex faces and distinct pale fasciae on black tegmina. They are both medium sized eurymelines distributed across the eastern parts of New South Wales and Victoria. Two specimens from Innisfail in the wet tropics of North Queensland may also belong to this genus.

Diagnosis
The head in profile is evenly convexly rounded. The tegmina, while usually having the venation reticulate apically, occasionally have large distinct apical cells. The fore femora are spurless and the hind tibiae bear from two to three spurs (Evans 1933).
