Ecological Descriptors

Caterpillar: herbivore (associated flora: Eucalyptus leucoxylon F. Muell. [MYRTACEAE] yellow gum).

Diagnosis

The relatively uniform grey colouration and lack of patterning on the forewings help to distinguish this species from P. beggaria (also a “peppermint” eucalypt feeder) where they occur together as in eastern Victoria.
